Job Role: SharePoint Consultant Locations: Vienna, VA or Pensacola, FL or Winchester, VA Hybrid Schedule: Onsite 2 days per week & remote 3 days per week Project Duration: 2 years Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented SharePoint Consultant to support our HR Finance and Vendor Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the redesign and build of the HR Risk Office SharePoint Sites. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with stakeholders from HR Risk, Vendor Management, and Finance teams to gather requirements and understand their needs for the redesigned site. • Design user-friendly and efficient layouts for the SharePoint site that integrates data visualization tools (for example, Power BI and Tableau). • Build and configure SharePoint site features, including document libraries, lists, workflows, and other functionalities that enhance collaboration and data management. • Develop interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI and Tableau to provide insights and analytics for decision-making processes. • Ensure best practices in design, implementation, and governance of SharePoint and BI tools. • Provide training and support to team members on how to effectively use SharePoint, Power BI, and Tableau tools. • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during the project deployment. • Continuously monitor and optimize site performance and user engagement based on feedback. Qualifications: • Proven experience as a SharePoint developer/consultant with a strong portfolio of previous projects. • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint features, functionality, and best practices. • Proficient in data visualization tools, specifically Power BI and Tableau, with a proven track record of developing dashboards and reports that drive business outcomes. • Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance in the context of SharePoint and BI tools. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective stakeholder engagement. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in HR, risk management, vendor management, or finance sectors. • Relevant certifications in SharePoint, Power BI, and Tableau are a plus. • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
