Location: Downey, CA Pay Rate: $65-$75 Contract Duration: 1 year OT Rate: Straight Time (Exempt) Estimated Regular Hours/Week: 40.00 Remote Skills Required: Technical Skills - Power BI: Dashboard and report development, Paginated Reports, Power BI Services, Row-Level Security (RLS), Gateway Server Management; Cloud & Data Engineering: Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Data pipeline design, development, and support; DevOps & Version Control: Azure DevOps, Git, GitHub; Programming Languages: Python, VB.Net, C#; Application Development: ASP.NET Web Forms, ASP.NET MVC; Database Development & Management: SQL Server (2014 & later), Oracle Database; SQL & T-SQL: Writing SQL queries, stored procedures, job scheduling; ETL & Reporting Tools: SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS); Business Intelligence & Data Warehousing: BI reporting, Data Warehousing (SQL Server & Oracle); and Domain Knowledge: Human Resource (HR) domain expertise. Experience Required: • 8+ years of data engineering experience in IT application integration designing, developing, and maintaining database/BI applications with SQL Server and BI stack. *5+ years of experience in developing and maintaining financial and operational reports and in PowerBI Dashboards development, PowerBI Pagination Reports Development. *4 years of experience withing the last 6 years in Azure Environment from inception to support. *4 years of experience within the last 6 years in designing & developing SQL queries, debugging & tunning complex queries for optimal performance *3 years of experience within the last 6 years of the following: Data Warehouse experience with SQL Server, Oracle, and Databricks; designing and developing Power BI Paginated reports using Power BI Report Builder; and implementing advanced Row-Level Security (RLS) and Object Level Security (OLS) to Power BI Dashboards and Report Builder reports. *2 + years of hands-on experience within the last 5 years in Cognos-to-Power BI Paginated Report conversions, including redesign and optimization. *2 years of experience in the last 10 years in designing and developing Applications using VB.Net, C#, and ASP.Net. *2 years of Human Resource Domain Knowledge, or similar, within the last six (6) years designing and developing Data Models in Power BI/SQL Server Analysis (SSAS)/Databricks/Azure Synapse using DAX and MDX. *1 year of experience in the last six (6) years with Cognos programs. *1 year of experience in designing and developing WebFocus BI Portals/Dashboards/Reports and Models. Education Required: This classification requires the possession of a bachelor’s degree in an IT-related or Engineering field. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis. Additional Information: Telework is allowed for this position.
