Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and innovative PowerApps, Power BI, and Power Automate Developer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business applications and automation workflows using Microsoft PowerApps, Power BI, and Power Automate. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, business intelligence, application development, and workflow automation, with the ability to translate business requirements into efficient and scalable solutions. Responsibilities • Design, develop, and deploy custom business applications using Microsoft PowerApps. • Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI. • Integrate PowerApps with various data sources, including SharePoint, SQL Server, and other external data sources. • Develop data models, perform data transformation, and create data visualizations to support business decision-making. • Design and implement automation workflows using Microsoft Power Automate to streamline business processes. • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. • Perform testing, troubleshooting, and optimization of PowerApps, Power BI, and Power Automate solutions to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability. • Provide technical support and training to end-users on PowerApps, Power BI, and Power Automate functionalities. • Stay up to date with the latest developments in PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate, and related technologies, and recommend best practices and innovative solutions. Qualifications • Ability to obtain US Secret Clearance • Proven experience as a PowerApps, Power BI, and Power Automate Developer or similar role. • Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerApps and Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and M language. • Experience with data integration and data modeling techniques. • Proficiency in SQL and experience with SQL Server or other relational databases. • Proficiency in Microsoft Power Automate, including creating and managing flows. • Familiarity with SharePoint, Azure, and other Microsoft 365 services. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Develop and present comprehensive briefs and reports tailored to high-level clients, ensuring clear communication of technical concepts. • Create and curate training materials, including data-related training content, to support user engagement and understanding. • Demonstrate developed applications, reports, and dashboards to high-level clients, showcasing functionality, insights, and business impact. • Lead client-facing demonstrations and walkthroughs to communicate value and address client-specific needs or queries. • Ability to work in person at our office in Alexandria and/or at client’s location up to five days per week. • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate or related certifications. • Experience with other BI tools and technologies, such as Tableau or Qlik. • Knowledge of programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, or Python. • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. • DoD experience is a plus.
