A travel client based in Woodland Hills is seeking two DevOps Engineers to join their infrastructure and IT operations team. The roles include a Sr. DevOps Engineer and a Mid-level DevOps Engineer. While the responsibilities are similar, the Senior role requires more leadership and independence, whereas the Mid-level role involves more hands-on support and guidance. The successful candidates will support a server migration project into a new Azure data center and work on upcoming projects such as vulnerability remediation and identification. Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform, utilizing Ansible for configuration management and automation, and collaborating with development teams to embed DevOps practices into the software lifecycle. Additional duties involve monitoring and optimizing system performance, reliability, and security (not as a security expert), implementing CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments, and documenting processes and configurations.
