Azure Infrastructure Specialist 💰 Salary: $100,000 - 115,000 per year At ComputerPeople Staffing we are looking for a DevOps engineer! 🛠️ Our tech stack: ARM, Architect, Azure, Cloud, DevOps, IaaS, PaaS, RBAC, SQL, Security, Terraform, VMware 📝 Rquirements: - I have over 5 years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, with a recent emphasis on cloud technologies. - I possess hands-on experience with Azure migration from VMware environments utilizing Azure Migrate. - I am well-versed in Azure IaaS, including Virtual Machines, networking, storage, and resource management. - I have experience working with Azure SQL, including both PaaS and Managed Instance deployments. - I understand cloud security principles, including identity management, RBAC, and security best practices. - I have experience in managing cloud budgets, optimizing costs, and providing forecasting. - I excel in problem-solving and can independently troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues. 👩‍💻👨‍💻 Your responsibilities are: - I will lead the migration of VMware systems to Microsoft Azure, employing Azure Migrate and following industry best practices. - I will deploy and maintain Azure infrastructure, including Virtual Machines, storage, networking, and security elements. - I will configure Azure SQL databases, focusing on high availability, performance enhancement, and disaster recovery solutions. - I will implement cost optimization strategies using Azure Cost Management and Azure Advisor tools. - I will develop automation solutions for infrastructure monitoring, deployment, and maintenance tasks. - I will collaborate across departments with security, DevOps, and application development teams to achieve shared goals. - I will monitor the performance and availability of cloud infrastructure using Azure monitoring tools. - I will manage cloud budgets and provide cost forecasts for enterprise workloads. - I will maintain thorough documentation for all Azure configurations and migration processes. - I will stay updated on Azure services and apply best practices for ongoing improvement.
