Job Description: “Mesilla Valley Transportation is hiring for Dispatchers on our Extended Coverage teams in El Paso, TX!!!” • Dynamic, Fast-Paced Environment: Thrive in a role where every day brings new challenges and opportunities. • Critical Decision-Making: Be the key player in ensuring efficient, on-time deliveries with quick, strategic decisions. • High-Impact Role: Directly influence company success through optimal routing and resource management. • Team Collaboration: Work closely with drivers, managers, and customers to ensure seamless communication and operations. • Growth Opportunities: Join a company that values your skills and offers exceptional performers a path to advancement. • ** We are looking for individuals who are available to work a flexible workweek which would include night and weekend coverage. *** Shifts Available: • Night Schedule: 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. 4 Nights on / 4 Nights off on • Weekend Schedule: 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. (Saturday, Sunday, and 2 Varying Days during the week from 5:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.) Responsibilities: • Provide customer service support to drivers during extended coverage shifts, using available resources and critical thinking to solve escalated issues. • Accurate data entry into company computer systems. • Escalates and/or resolves problems per guidelines using available tools and resources. • Works with team members to solve problems. • Provides clear work instructions to drivers. Qualifications: • High School Diploma or equivalent required. • Proficient communicator in both English and Spanish language (preferred). • Basic knowledge of motor carrier operations and geography. • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk, or listen.
