Profiles without these details will not be considered. Position Overview We are seeking a Technology Lead with deep expertise in Azure Cloud Platform, Java, Spring Boot, and Snowflake integration. The selected candidate will design and develop cloud-native applications and data solutions that power analytics and enterprise-scale operations. This is a hybrid onsite role based in Chicago, IL, ideal for candidates who can immediately relocate and work closely with client stakeholders. Must-Have Skills Java Spring Boot Snowflake Nice-to-Have Skills Cloud deployment experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Docker and microservices architecture Knowledge of data governance, ETL/ELT design, and performance optimization Detailed Job Description Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend applications and microservices using Java and Spring Boot. Integrate Java applications with Snowflake using the Snowflake JDBC driver for data access, transactions, and transformations. Develop and optimize data ingestion and ETL/ELT pipelines to move data from diverse sources into Snowflake. Build and design data models (fact/dimension tables) to support reporting and analytics. Write and optimize SQL queries within Snowflake for both operational and BI purposes. Implement standard data access layers using JPA/Hibernate for Snowflake interactions. Monitor and tune Java application and Snowflake query performance. Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and product teams to deliver end-to-end cloud data solutions. Uphold data governance, security, and data quality best practices. Deploy applications in cloud environments (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP acceptable). Lead and mentor teams using domain-driven design and modern engineering practices. Experience Required 8 10 years of total experience in software development and solution architecture. Proven track record in Java backend development, Snowflake integration, and Azure cloud deployment. Top 3 Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and microservices using Java and Spring Boot. Integrate Java applications with Snowflake for data transactions and analytics. Architect and deliver Azure-based cloud solutions with a focus on performance and scalability.
