This temporary position is located in Raleigh - Wake County. Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $23.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application). This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of Environmental Quality. This position is located at 217 W. Jones St, Raleigh, NC 27603.The duties of this position include: • Daily Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and deposit activities. • Field Deposits: Execute and verify daily field deposits and ensure timely submission. • Core Banking Transfers: Process inter-account transfers using the organization’s core banking systems. • NCFS Journal Entries: Enter and certify journal entries into the NCFS system on a daily basis. • Excel Tracking: Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets to track journals, deposits, and other financial transactions. • SharePoint Logging: Log all deposits and transfer activities in SharePoint for cross-departmental transparency. • Deposit Certification: Ensure all deposits are certified in NCFS on a daily basis. • Email Monitoring: Monitor and respond to inquiries or alerts via WF CEO email system to ensure seamless cash management operations EXAMPLE OF DUTIES NOTE: Qualified applicants must meet and CLEARLY reflect on their application training and experience and all knowledge, skills, abilities, and any experience or competencies specified in the posting and/or supplemental question(s) to be considered.
