Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and experienced techno-functional leader to manage the data lifecycle for our Microsoft Consulting Manufacturing Business Applications unit. This role is pivotal in maximizing client value by effectively organizing, governing, and leveraging data. As the Data Migration and Analytics Manager, you will oversee all aspects of data for client projects, from migration planning and execution to analytics and AI readiness. You will modernize our data migration processes, provide advisory support to client stakeholders, and lead a high-performing team in a global collaborative environment. You will primarily operate within the Microsoft ecosystem, including Dynamics 365 Sales, Finance & Supply Chain, Power Platform, and Power BI, collaborating with deep technical architects as required. Key Responsibilities: • Lead Data Migration & Modernization (Primary) • Oversee the end-to-end data migration workstream for ERP implementations, ensuring seamless execution from discovery and scoping through cutover and post-go-live stabilization. • Establish a modern migration playbook, including standards, templates, and accelerators for mapping, cleansing, enrichment, validation, reconciliation, and defect triage. • Enhance build/test cycles through automation and reusable scripts, aiming for measurable reductions in cycle time and defects. • Collaborate with technical teams on tooling (e.g., D365 Data Management, data entities, Dataverse, ETL pipelines), focusing on business outcomes and readiness. • Drive Analytics & AI Readiness (Secondary) • Implement analytics initiatives from the outset: treat data as a core design element during ERP implementations and define success measures aligned with manufacturing goals before configurations begin. • Prepare clients for AI and automation by strengthening data lineage, governance, and telemetry to safely adopt and derive measurable outcomes from Copilot, advanced analytics, and Power Automate. • Influence functional design to ensure implementations capture and structure data effectively at the right quality. • Solution & Delivery Leadership • Coordinate cross-functional delivery, including backlog creation, user stories, acceptance criteria, test strategy, and management of risks and issues using Azure DevOps. • Engage with client executives and SMEs; lead workshops and make recommendations grounded in value and feasibility. • People Leadership & Global Collaboration • Scale knowledge through playbooks, standards, and communities of practice; contribute reusable assets and accelerators. • Work closely with global teammates to drive progress and improve our offshore/nearshore delivery model. • Continuous Learning & Microsoft Ecosystem Value • Stay updated on Microsoft's business applications and data stack (D365 Finance & Supply Chain, Dataverse, Power Platform, Power BI, Azure/Microsoft Fabric, AI features) and identify practical applications for client scenarios. • Translate new capabilities into actionable proposals, quick POCs, ROI hypotheses, and data/analytics standards that enhance time-to-value. • Maintain a dynamic Microsoft ecosystem roadmap for each client, balancing foundational data quality and governance while capturing opportunities for analytics and automation wins. Qualifications: Mandatory: • 7+ years of experience in delivering data-intensive work on large ERP programs (Microsoft D365 Finance & Supply Chain preferred; SAP or Oracle also considered). • Proven experience in managing data migration for manufacturing clients, including domain scoping, mapping, cleansing, validation, and cutover execution. • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (BOMs, routings, MRP, production orders, inventory, quality, costing, procurement, order-to-cash, plan-to-produce, record-to-report). • Hands-on capability to create mockups/wireframes/POCs and collaborate with technical teams on practical solutions (basic SQL, data profiling, entity models, APIs/ETL). • Familiarity with Azure data services (data factory, fabric, data lakes, pipelines, governance) with a collaborative mindset towards specialists. • Exceptional client-facing communication skills, with an executive presence, adept at leading workshops and data-driven storytelling. • Experience in team leadership, coaching, providing performance feedback, and resource planning. Nice-to-Have: • Exposure to Power Platform (Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate) and Microsoft CoPilot. • Experience with MES/PLM/EDI integrations and manufacturing shop floor data. • Proficiency in Azure DevOps, Git, and structured delivery practices (backlogs, user stories, test management). • Relevant Microsoft certifications (D365 Finance/Supply Chain, Power Platform, Power BI) are a plus.
