Rapid Strategy is seeking an Azure Security Specialist. Rapid Strategy is an award-winning and African-American owned small business providing cybersecurity services to the private and public sector. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of Azure Security. As an Azure Security Specialist, you should be hands-on in all aspects of Azure security including implementing security controls and threat protection, managing identity and access management, implementing security policies, and using Azure technologies. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, have the ability to lead and drive work, and have a passion for cybersecurity. This is a hybrid role based in Reston VA so candidates must be local to or within a commutable distance to Reston VA. The candidate should be comfortable with going on-site 1 to 2 days a week to work with the project team. Must Have Qualifications: • Expertise in Azure Security with 10+ years of experience in security architecture and hands-on engineering. • Self-starter and Senior resource who can lead Azure Security Architecture and Engineering. • Drive security controls with common information security standards such as: NIST CSF, SOX, SOC2, FEDRAMP, and CIS Controls. • Strong background in cyber security controls frameworks and regulatory requirements including NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, CSA CCM, SOX, and Privacy regulations. • Expertise in Azure public cloud, O365, Azure DevOps, Azure cloud native design, microservice architecture, containerization and non-functional requirements. • Hands-on experience in Azure ARM Template (Terraform or Biceps), PowerShell and Azure CLI. Nice to Have Qualifications: • Azure Security Engineer Certification, Microsoft Cyber Security Architect Certification, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP).
