Business Services Consultant - Omaha, NE We help job seekers and career changers prepare for and advance in careers with a focus on sustainable, high-growth, high-demand industries. Job Responsibilities Conduct searches for suitable job openings for clients, matching qualifications with employer requirements. Develop a variety of job opportunities for candidates. Establish and maintain active contact with employers. Maintain detailed knowledge of the local labor market. Build and sustain relationships with area businesses. Collaborate with businesses to identify job openings, training initiatives, and alternative work activities. Assist employers in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring qualified applicants. Maintain an updated listing of local job opportunities. Coordinate with project staff on local business needs and job placements. Work with case management staff to facilitate job placements. Engage community and business leaders to promote workforce services. Follow up with employers to ensure satisfaction and improve services. Arrange for employers to speak to candidates about employment expectations. Organize job fairs and hiring events, with flexibility for outside hours. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or 2 years of relevant work experience in sales, marketing, customer service, staffing, or recruiting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong customer service and presentation skills, with experience in public speaking or outside sales preferred. Knowledge of local community needs and resources. Understanding of labor market trends. Professional demeanor and friendly attitude. Sales or staffing experience is a plus. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
