EverPeak Recruitment Syracuse, New York, United States (On-site)SaveApplyDevOps Engineer (Microsoft | Azure | GitHub | Jenkins)Location: Must be based near Syracuse NY, Rochester NY, or Richmond VAEmployment Type: Full-time, Direct HireSalary: $90,000–$120,000 annuallyTravel: ~10%, occasional visits to local officeAbout the RoleWe’re hiring a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in the Microsoft ecosystem, including Azure, GitHub, and Jenkins, to lead the design and implementation of our CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure. This is a direct-hire role with a growing team, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact from day one.You'll work remotely, with occasional visits to our local office—so we’re looking for candidates based in the Syracuse, Rochester, or Richmond areas.Key Responsibilities • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins • Manage and optimize infrastructure in Azure, including VMs, networking, and storage • Automate internal and external build and deployment processes • Improve version control workflows using GitHub • Troubleshoot build and deployment issues quickly and effectively • Collaborate closely with development and QA teams on deployment strategy • Implement infrastructure automation and cloud best practices What We're Looking For • 3+ years of experience with .NET Core, C#, and Microsoft SQL Server • Deep hands-on experience with Azure cloud services • Proficient with GitHub, including branching and version control strategy • CI/CD pipeline expertise with GitHub Actions and Jenkins • Strong scripting skills: PowerShell, Bash, or Python • Knowledge of Windows Server administration and core networking concepts Bonus Skills (Nice to Have) • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes • Experience with tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef • Exposure to monitoring/logging tools (Grafana, ELK, etc.) • Understanding of DevSecOps principles Why Join Us? • Competitive pay: $90K–$120K based on experience • Direct impact on DevOps strategy and tools • Work remotely with flexible, local support • Collaborate in a Microsoft-centric environment using modern DevOps tools • Comprehensive benefits and long-term growth opportunities Apply now if you're a Microsoft-savvy DevOps Engineer based near Syracuse, Rochester, or Richmond!Let’s build something smarter, faster, and more reliable—together.Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is requiredNo corp to corp or 3rd party agencies.
