Sr. Principal System Administrators, internally known as Principal Analyst, infrastructure Workplace Services, collaborate with many teams to support exciting, critical programs with classified information system capabilities. Success in this role means you are able to develop, implement and maintain secure, cost-efficient environments across various classified programs. Program teams rely on your collaboration and guidance to define computing requirements and create end-to-end solutions to solve complex IT infrastructure problems.    What You Will Do:  • Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Redhat Enterprise Linux environment.   • Linux Server management to include installation, configuration, and maintenance.  • Windows Server management fundamentals to include DNS, DHCP, AD, and server replication methods.   • Design, build, configure, install, monitor, and support the scalable physical and virtual backup environment. • Primary responsibility to manage backup operations include scheduling and monitoring jobs, troubleshooting failures, and monitoring completion and storage capacity. • Develop and test disaster recovery plan to include data restoration, system recovery, and business continuity • Design, implement, and maintain storage systems to ensure data integrity, availability, and optimal performance. • Performance monitoring and tuning  • Provide advanced support on L3/L4 tickets and troubleshoot technical issues reported by users  • Provide technical guidance on implementation, integrations, and upgrade initiatives • Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems (OS).  • Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements and provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures and other tasks as assigned.  • Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date.  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and best practices  • Work as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment. •   Systems are operational 24x7 and occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours Travel required to other US Domestic locations as business needs dictate up to 10% travel. • Full time 100% Onsite position, Plano, TX location Qualifications You Must Have:  • Typically, bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience or advanced degree and 5 years of direct experience  • Must have active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.  • Experience with Linux and Windows environments. • Experience with data RAID, data backup uses and technologies.   • Must have experience in one of the following: VMware vCenter, vSphere, VDI (Horizon), ESX and/or other virtual computing methods.  • Scripting experience Qualifications We Prefer:  • Communication skills to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff. • Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification and an Operating System Certification)  • Experience with Containerization Technologies such as OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, Tanzu, and Rancher • Experience with Continuous Integration\Continuous Delivery Tools such as Gitlab, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps • Experience with NFS, CIFS/SMB, iSCSI, and Fiber Channel protocols. • Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or DoD/RMF  • In-depth working experience with Windows Server  • Experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions – Centrify   • Experience with data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies and solutions  • Experience supporting engineers in software, simulations, and hardware development.  • Experience with Commvault, Veeam, or NetBackup • High Performance Computing (HPC) experience in a Linux environment    What We Offer: • Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
