This role will define and oversee the implementation of Microsoft 365 solutions, ensuring that the architecture, data design, and integration strategy meet both current operational needs and future scalability goals. The Solutions Lead will drive alignment between business objectives and technology outcomes, guiding developers, administrators, and analysts in delivering secure, high-performance, and user-centric solutions. 9 Experience and Certifications (preffered) 12 14 years of IT experience, including 8+ years as a Microsoft 365 / SharePoint Architect or BI Solutions Lead. Expertise in SharePoint Online, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Azure integrations. Microsoft Certified: Solutions Architect Expert, Power BI Data Analyst Associate, or Enterprise Administrator Expert required. Deep understanding of Power Platform governance, Azure Active Directory, and data visualization strategy. Experience in system integrations with ERP, HR, and third-party tools using APIs and Power Automate connectors. 10 Skill set info Architecture design | Microsoft 365 ecosystem mastery | Data modeling and visualization | API integration | Performance optimization | Security and compliance | DevOps (CI/CD pipelines) | Mentorship | Technical documentation | Client consultation. 11 Key Responsibilities: Define and document the technical architecture and governance model for all SharePoint and Power BI initiatives. Lead the design of scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions across the Microsoft 365 and Azure environments. Oversee integration between SharePoint, Power BI, and enterprise data sources. Develop data models, DAX calculations, and Power BI workspaces aligned with governance best practices. Collaborate with the Project Manager to align technical milestones, dependencies, and delivery schedules. Guide development and configuration teams in implementing reusable and efficient components. Establish Power BI workspace and dataflow governance to ensure consistency across departments. Optimize SharePoint performance and design architecture for collaboration, workflow automation, and knowledge management. Conduct security assessments and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local data regulations. Mentor junior staff and ensure transfer of technical knowledge across delivery teams. 12 Preferred Experience: Prior experience serving as a Solutions Architect or Technical Lead for large-scale government Microsoft 365 environment. Deep expertise in SharePoint modernization, Power BI governance, and Power Platform automation. Familiarity with Azure DevOps pipelines, API-driven integration, and CI/CD automation for Microsoft 365 ecosystems. Experience leading cross-functional teams through design, deployment, and optimization of Microsoft collaboration platforms.
