The National Security Sector technology-enabled services and mission software capabilities for defense and intel customers in the areas of cyber, logistics, security operations, and decision analytics. The National Security Sector is seeking a highly motivated and tactical Cloud Services Enterprise Architect (SME) supporting Leidos Homeland and Force Protection Business Area division. The candidate will support our Agile DevSecOps contract and be responsible for understanding customer needs to create applications. The ideal candidate will possess superior analytical and problem-solving skills, operate independently with limited supervision and feedback, be a strong team player, and can establish solid working relationships with technical staff and peers within the division, as well as our external Government customers. Experience in communications, Agile, and DevSecOps; hardware/software fabrication; Cloud, platform system integration; and/or test and evaluation is a plus. Join a team committed to a Mission! Primary Responsibilities: • Designs, builds and implements and maintains enterprise class systems and processes to support mission needs and develops the baseline and target architecture for a production environment. • Align standards and frameworks with overall business and technology strategy. • Identifies design gaps in existing and proposed architecture and recommends changes and/or enhancements to ensure stability, interoperability, portability and/or scalability of system architecture. Clearance Required to be considered: • Current TS/SCI. Required Experience, Skills, and Education: • Over 12 years of experience in programming, software development, and solution architecture based on customer requirements • Proven ability to design and implement automated build and deployment pipelines, along with platform support • Skilled in maintaining 24/7 availability and troubleshooting enterprise applications serving tens of thousands of users • Strong background in diagnosing and resolving technical, functional, and performance issues across complex systems • Demonstrated leadership in guiding teams through technical design and implementation processes • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education: • Amazon Web Services • Microsoft Azure Cloud Original Posting: May 6, 2025 For U.S. Positions: While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above. Pay Range: Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
