Job Type: Contract Job Category: IT Job Description Role: Azure Cognitive Services Integration Engineer – Databricks and SQL Server Location: Remote Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Azure Cognitive Services Integration Engineer with expertise in Databricks and SQL Server to design, implement, and manage AI-driven data solutions. The ideal candidate will be skilled in integrating Azure Cognitive Services (such as Vision, Speech, Language, and Decision APIs) with data pipelines, leveraging Azure Databricks for analytics and SQL Server for data storage and transformation. Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop end-to-end AI and data integration solutions using Azure Cognitive Services, Databricks, and SQL Server. • Build and manage data pipelines that integrate unstructured and structured data for AI model consumption. • Implement Azure Cognitive APIs (Text Analytics, Computer Vision, Speech-to-Text, Translator, etc.) within data workflows. • Use Azure Databricks (PySpark, Spark SQL) to preprocess, transform, and analyze large datasets for cognitive model inputs. • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines connecting Azure Cognitive outputs to SQL Server or Synapse Analytics. • Build custom connectors, APIs, and Logic Apps to orchestrate AI data flows. • Work closely with data scientists and analysts to operationalize AI insights into business dashboards or applications. • Optimize performance, scalability, and cost efficiency of AI and data integration workflows. • Ensure data security, compliance, and governance in accordance with enterprise standards. • Develop POCs (Proofs of Concept) demonstrating how cognitive services enhance data insights and automation.
