Eagle TG is seeking a dynamic, proactive, and self-starting Senior Information Systems Engineer to join our team. Candidates will need to be within commuting distance of Scott AFB, IL. The salary range for this position is $90,000-$120,000 annually and is dependent on geographical location, qualifications, and experience. Responsibilities • Designs, implements, and tests various web-based applications. • Develops REST and SOAP services in an agile development environment. • Writes custom Java and .NET services using standard frameworks. • Designs, implements, and documents system infrastructure and integrates open source and commercial off the shelf products into integrated solutions. • Designs and implements middleware solutions using the apache-based WSO2 platform. • Develops WSO2 extensions to include authentication routines and custom synapse sequences. • Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements. • As part of a scrum instructs, directs, and checks the work of other software developers. • Participates in the development of enterprise documentation. • Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments. • Establishes goals and plans to meet project objectives. Requirements • Ability to obtain a US DoD Secret clearance • Experience implementing services-oriented architecture principles (e.g. loose coupling and statelessness; lessening client/service dependencies, and increasing service reusability, interoperability, and autonomy, etc.) • Experience with object-oriented software development methodology • Experience with schemas, constraints, and SQL in general on one or more major SQL-based RDBMS platform(s) (e.g. MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, etc.) • Experience with Java/J2EE application development • Solid knowledge of XML technologies: XSLT, XPath, XQuery, XSD • Knowledge of REST and SOAP service development • Ability to clearly communicate (written and spoken) with peers and customers • Ability to work individually as well as with cross function teams • Strong desire to learn to use new technologies as required • Ability to obtain CompTIA Security+ or higher certification Desired • Active US DoD Secret clearance • Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns • Experience or exposure to enterprise service bus implementation strategies and technologies • Experience or exposure to service security standards such as SAML and OATH • Experience with the WSO2 platform or similar middleware products • Working knowledge of AWS GovCloud • Exposure to system design/frameworks • CompTIA Security+ or better About Eagle TG Headquartered in New Braunfels, TX, Eagle TG is focused on delivering enterprise application architecture, project management, and telecommunications solutions to federal, state, local government, and commercial clients.
