The People Applications Administrator at Discovery Behavioral Health is responsible for the administration and support of Human Resources systems, ensuring data integrity and process improvement. Position Summary: The People Applications Administrator is responsible for implementation support, training, report generation, data integrity, application administration, support, and maintenance for all Human Resources systems and integrations. This position will work with multiple database systems to provide end-user support, testing system changes, analyze data, and make recommendations for process improvement. Essential Job Functions: • Configure and maintain business processes within applicable HR Applications • Works with functional users to provide technical support, research, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within applicable HR Applications and modules • Assists in the creation and writing of system test scenarios for release upgrades • Assists with system requirements, design, development, upgrades, and enhancements projects • Proposes, develops, tests, implements, and evaluates modifications and/or additions to HR Applications • Oversees functional testing for all HR system fixes, upgrades, patches, and other maintenance • Ensures data integrity through process improvement, audits, uploads, maintenance, and documentation • Provides daily production support for HR Applications and systems • Creates, tests, and manages data interfaces with other vendor applications • Resolves issues as they relate to processes and systems • Develops and generates custom and ad hoc queries as requested • Creates and run scheduled queries for end-users • Responsible for day-to-day, ongoing maintenance and process tasks within the system including import loads, accrual adjustments, creating new locations • Serves as a liaison between the IS team and other functional departments as it relates to People Application enhancements • Supports and participates as a project team member in ongoing HCM implementation projects • Engage with all application support communities to understand system capabilities and recommend solutions to address business needs • Creates user guides, system workflow, and standard operating procedures • Assists with the development and delivery of end-user training • Performs other duties as required Core Competencies: • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work • Clear communication skills – written and verbal – and able to interact with various cultural backgrounds and ethnicities • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Demonstrate an understanding of meeting preparation and committee process • Ability to collect, understand and summarize data • Demonstrate tact, initiative, resourcefulness, professional manner, enthusiasm, teamwork and non-judgmental attitude Knowledge, Education, and Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, IT, or related field • Five years of experience involving extensive data reporting/analysis or database management • Three years of experience with Dayforce Core HCM required • Knowledge in Dayforce Integration tools, Packaged Integrations, Dayforce studio, Enterprise Integration Builder (EIB), Document Transformation, Calculated Fields, and Report Writer • Prior experience developing and generating reports and analytics; ability to analyze data and metrics to identify trends and areas of opportunity • Strong technical skills, including advanced experience with Microsoft Applications • Strong SQL report writing skills and analyzing various reporting functions within HCM systems • Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience driving projects to completion • Valid California driver's license Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
