Job Title: Enterprise Solution Architect – P&C Insurance (Azure, Power Platform, Databricks) Location: (Hybrid – 3 days onsite - multiple locations on East Coast and Dallas, TX) Type: Contract to hire Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Solution Architect to lead cloud modernization and digital transformation for a consulting client in the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain. The ideal candidate combines deep experience in Microsoft Azure architecture, Power Platform, and insurance systems (policy, claims, billing, underwriting). Responsibilities: • Architect and deliver scalable, secure Azure-based enterprise solutions across data, integration, and security layers. • Lead modernization of legacy systems (Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco) using microservices, APIs, and event-driven designs. • Drive Power Platform adoption – Power Apps, Pages, Power Automate, Copilot – integrated with enterprise systems. • Define and enforce architecture standards, reusable frameworks, and governance models. • Build and manage data pipelines and analytics frameworks using Azure Databricks, ADF, and related services. • Integrate CRM, ERP, and core insurance systems to enable unified data visibility. • Ensure alignment with compliance and regulatory frameworks – SOC2, GDPR, HIPAA, NAIC. • Partner with business, data, and technology leaders to define modernization roadmaps. Required Skills: • 12+ years in IT, with 6+ years as a Solution or Enterprise Architect. • Strong background in Microsoft technologies – Azure App Services, API Management, Logic Apps, Power Platform, AAD, DevOps. • Proven experience designing solutions with Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate, and Copilot. • Hands-on with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and data integration frameworks. • Deep understanding of P&C insurance workflows – policy, claims, billing, underwriting, reinsurance. • Experience with Guidewire, Duck Creek, or Majesco. • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred: • Certifications: Azure Architect Expert (AZ-305) or TOGAF. • Experience with Power BI, AI/ML, or claims analytics on Databricks. • Prior consulting experience with large insurers or brokers.
