Catalent Pharma Solutions in Kansas City, MO is hiring a Analytics Scientist I. Usually works with some supervision, conferring with superior on unusual matters. May be assisted by laboratory technicians/assistants or associate level scientists. Assignments are broad in nature, requiring originality and ingenuity. Has appreciable latitude for un-reviewed action or decision. He/she may direct projects and employees, taking on a technical lead role. Comply with divisional and site Environmental Health and Safety requirements. This is a full-time role position: Monday-Friday: 8:00am- 5:00pm. 1st Shift, Onsite. The Role • Review technical documents for accuracy, thoroughness and regulatory compliance. Perform peer review of laboratory notebook for Dissolution testing • Authors and review technical documents, such as protocols, test methods, text reports, certificates of analysis, and operating procedures. Aide in liaison between operation and quality • Develop and execute laboratory work plans/schedules independently, using customer milestones and Division/site performance standards and metrics • Perform Dissolution testing include in-process, release or stability. Techniques include HPLC, UV/Vis, Disintegration and Dissolution. Apparatus types 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6. Perform method validation or transfer activities. Under direction, perform method development activities • Trains, coaches or mentors others on technical, personal development or business issues. Executes efficiency continuous improvement project with guidance • Identify and recommend business opportunities on a project specific basis.
