Position: Senior Data Engineer (Azure, Python, SQL) • * Our client, one of Bostons longest tenured private asset managers, is looking for a motivated Senior Data Engineer to join their Enterprise Data team to develop and support critical data processing and warehousing applications. • Designing and implementing Python and SQL solutions. • Proficiency with data collection, data wrangling, visualizations, and ETL. • Migrating existing systems to the cloud. • Implementing best practices in data modeling and access patterns for cost-efficiency and high performance. • Maintaining an Azure Synapse Enterprise Data Warehouse. • ** • 2-5 years of experience in programming with SQL and Python. • Experience and/or passion for working in financial services. • Familiarity with enterprise applications. • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science. Value Added (but not required): • Experience with Azure data platforms (Synapse, SQL Database, Data Factory, and Data Lake). • Experience working with data (files, REST APIs, databases) in Python.
