IT Consultant – CCWIS Project Management with Scrum and Azure Role: IT Consultant – CCWIS Project Management Client: DC Government Location: Washington, D.C. (Hybrid) Job Description: The program manager is responsible for creating and onboarding project teams, integrating them into the organization, and providing a clear vision of the product. They assist agile teams in the efficient implementation and use of Azure DevOps (ADO) to automatically measure and report quality and performance measures to the Program’s Portal. They facilitate communication and information exchange between external groups and the project team, monitor project progress, provide timely feedback, and foster a culture of agility and learning. Responsibilities include defining project scope, goals, and deliverables that support milestones in collaboration with business, senior management, and stakeholders. The role involves developing detailed project plans, managing expectations, identifying dependencies, planning timelines, managing daily team meetings, maintaining risk and issues registries, managing scope changes, providing oversight of system integrator agile processes, and promoting continuous quality improvement. Experience required: Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent (10 years preferred) Experience in Human Services or Child Welfare sector (2 years preferred) Project Management Professional Certification (10 years preferred) Hands-on experience with MS Project Schedule (7 years preferred) Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint (7 years preferred) Professional experience with Cúram CGISS development (7 years preferred) Extensive experience conveying technical and functional concepts (10 years preferred) Experience preparing complex technical documentation (10 years preferred) Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Agile Scrum Master PMI (3 years preferred) Experience acting as a Scrum Master (3 years preferred) Large scale IT project experience (10 years preferred) Flexible work-from-home options available.
