Strong understanding of programming techniques and computer systems. Ability to evaluate user requests and determine feasibility, cost, and system compatibility. Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Preferred Experience: 4 years of experience in Microsoft Power Platform development. 4 years of hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Pages, Connectors, and Power Automate. 2 years of experience designing and developing Power Pages, Canvas Apps, and Model-Driven Apps using Dataverse, SharePoint, or other databases. 2 years of experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and working independently. 2 years of experience mentoring developers on Power Platform technologies. 2 years of experience in Agile development and sprint planning. 1 year of experience with Power Automate Cloud Flows, Desktop Flows, business process Flows, and Process Advisor. 1 year of experience extending Power Platform using JavaScript and custom plug-ins. 1 year of experience with Dataverse tables, connectors, and external integrations. 1 year of experience with Power BI and Power Platform best practices. 1 year of experience with the Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Admin Center. 1 year of experience implementing agile methodologies for Texas State Agencies. 1 year of experience in healthcare or public health environments. Summary: We are seeking a skilled Power Platform Developer to support the development, implementation, and expansion of the Microsoft 365 Power Platform. This role will focus on building and enhancing the Invoice Tracking System (ITS) for the State Agency CFO, leveraging tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Dataverse. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in low-code development and integration within SaaS/PaaS environments. Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and support solutions using Microsoft 365 Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Power BI, etc.). Design and build Model-Driven Apps, Canvas Apps, and Power Pages using Dataverse, SharePoint, and other data sources. Integrate Power Platform applications with external services and products. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify objectives, and define system specifications. Apply structured analysis, object-oriented development, and agile methodologies to plan and execute development tasks. Document technical designs, workflows, and user guides for developed solutions. Provide training and mentorship to other developers on Power Platform technologies. Participate in sprint planning and agile ceremonies.
