Position Title: Senior Cloud Engineer I (Azure Platform) Security Clearance: Active Secret (Top Secret eligible) Role Summary: The Senior Cloud Engineer I (Azure Platform) will design, deploy, and optimize cloud-based infrastructure within Microsoft Azure. This role focuses on Azure architecture, automation, security, and DevOps methodologies to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant systems aligned with federal standards. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance cloud operations and drive modernization initiatives. Key Qualifications: • Active Secret clearance with Top Secret eligibility • Minimum 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or systems administration • Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure environments • Azure Solutions Architect certification (preferred) or equivalent Azure certification • Proficient in Azure Active Directory (AAD), encryption, security monitoring, and compliance (FedRAMP, NIST, DoD standards) • Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub, and Azure DevOps Services • Experience in multi-cloud and hybrid environments integrating Azure and on-premises infrastructure • Proficiency in Azure networking services (VNet, Azure DNS, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, Load Balancer/Application Gateway) • Skilled in Python, PowerShell, Bash, and YAML/JSON for cloud automation and management Nice to Have: • Experience supporting federal agencies or DoD cloud environments • Hands-on experience with Azure Functions, AKS (Azure Kubernetes Services), and microservices architecture • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in complex cloud ecosystems
