Job Title: Senior Technical Specialist (Azure Cloud) Location: Remote with onsite presence as an when needed. Note: Candidate should be local to California Overview: The Client's Investment Office requires additional resources for their existing and newly proposed solutions, all requiring advanced cloud architecture expertise and resources to consistently support the maintenance, optimization, and critical incident response during extended business hours. The consultant will undertake duties and responsibilities consistent with a senior cloud technology specialist in the support of client's existing cloud infrastructure and the architecture, design, and support of existing and new INVO cloud solutions. Key Deliverables: • Network Architecture for Cloud & On-Prem Solutions • Design secure, scalable network solutions supporting platforms like Snowflake, SimCorp, BlackRock Aladdin, Bloomberg. • Integrate SDN, SD-WAN, NFV, and automation via Terraform. • Enterprise Network Engineering & Advanced Technology Implementation • Maintenance and Level II/III support of firewalls, F5 Load Balancers, VPNs, Cisco Client, routing/switching. • Implement high-availability network infrastructure and failover systems. • Knowledge Transfer & Documentation • Create network architecture documents, triage reports, test cases, and train CalPERS staff on advanced troubleshooting. Evaluation Criteria (Key Skills) • Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent. • 5+ years enterprise network architecture experience. • 5+ years SDN, SDA, SD-WAN, Cisco Client. • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VPN, Firewalls, Load Balancers. • Certifications: CCNP/CCIE/CCDE or equivalent.
