Role: Azure Cloud Engineer Title: Assistant Vice President Location: Manassas, Virginia (Day 1 Onsite/Hybrid) Mode of Work: 3 days per week onsite required Required experience: 5+ Years We are: Wissen Technology. Comfortable working in the quickly growing nature of profitable startups and have a “can do” attitude and are willing to take on any task thrown your way. You will:· As an Assistant Vice President help to develop and promote the company’s culture of engineering excellence. · Define, develop and deliver solutions at a top tier investment bank/other esteemed client. · Perform other duties as assigned. Required skills: Here's the JD • Azure – Manage azure resources create, update, and delete • Azure Entra ID – creating users, groups, service principals, PIM Assignments • Azure landing zone concepts and usage • Azure Microsoft Defender for cloud and Azure Sentinel • Azure Policy – azure policy as code and be able to assign, edit , exempt, and delete azure policies. Should resolve the non-compliances • Should be good with at least these azure services – Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Virtual Network Gateways, Kubernetes, Storage Account, network Security groups, firewalls, firewall policies, route tables, bastion. • Languages – Azure Bicep & terraform for Cloud Resource Deployment Automation. Shell scripting, Python and Ansible for regular configuration management and other automations. • Containerization – Our Projects applications run as containers/pods. So, the individual must have complete knowledge about the complete containerization lifecycle including docker/podman, docker-compose and then Kubernetes • Github Actions – all the workflows for Cloud deployments or Application Build or Application Deployments are written and deployed using Github actions Your Education and Experience: · We value candidates who can execute on our vision and help us build an industry-leading organization.
