Our client is seeking a highly skilled Help Desk – Level 3 Analyst to join their IT support team. This role is ideal for an experienced technician who excels at solving complex technical issues, mentoring junior staff, and optimizing system performance. You will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of IT systems across the organization. Key Responsibilities: • Provide expert-level support for escalated IT issues related to hardware, software, and networking. • Maintain and optimize servers, virtual environments, cloud services, and endpoint devices. • Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to safeguard company data and infrastructure. • Guide and mentor Level 1 and Level 2 support technicians to enhance team effectiveness. • Analyze system logs, conduct diagnostics, and proactively address recurring or potential issues. • Support IT initiatives, including hardware rollouts, software updates, and cloud migrations. • Liaise with third-party vendors and service providers for issue resolution and system enhancements. • Create and maintain documentation for troubleshooting steps, standard procedures, and system configurations. • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements or upgrades. Required Skills and Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred). • 5+ years of IT support experience, with at least 2 years in a Level 3 or senior support role. • Advanced knowledge of: • Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, Office 365 • Virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V • Networking: firewalls, VPNs, DNS, and network protocols • Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud • Familiarity with ticketing and remote support tools, IT asset management, and monitoring systems. • Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals are a plus. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
