Position Summary: The Integrations Project Manager works closely with the Vanterra M&A team and functional teams to lead and coordinate diligence, post-signing and post-closing integration activities. This role is critical in ensuring that newly acquired businesses are smoothly and effectively integrated into the organization, aligning with strategic goals, maintaining business continuity, and capturing deal value. The ideal candidate has a strong background in project management, cross-functional collaboration, change management, and an understanding of M&A processes. Responsibilities: • Work closely with broader M&A team to understand acquisition pipeline and prepare timelines for diligence, planning and execution. • Develop and manage detailed integration project plans, including milestones, tasks, due dates, deliverables, and resource allocation. • Coordinate cross-functional teams (HR, IT, Finance, Legal, Operations, Sales, etc.) and lead weekly touchpoints to ensure timely completion of activities. • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for integration outcomes. • Act as the primary point of contact for integration activities with the Seller management team. • Travel to acquisition location to support onboarding of newly acquired business. • Partner with executive team and functional leads to ensure alignment and buy-in on integration goals and strategies. • Facilitate regular integration status meetings and participate in leadership / steering committee updates. • Report integration progress through weekly status updates. • Identify and manage cultural, organizational, and operational changes resulting from the acquisition. • Develop and execute communication plans to keep stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the integration lifecycle. • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate integration-related risks. • Ensure quick resolution of roadblocks and escalate issues to leadership when necessary. • Monitor and assess integration progress post-close, ensuring continuous improvement and lessons learned are captured. Work Experience & Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university • 5+ years of program/project management or business transformation • Understanding of M&A lifecycle, due diligence, and post-closing integration best practices preferred • PMP or similar project management certification is a plus • Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment. • Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar project management platforms. • Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to influence and drive change at all levels of the organization. • Comfortable with ambiguity and capable of working independently. • Willingness to travel up to 30% within the United States.
