### **Internship Program Overview:** The San Francisco 49ers offer full-time internships to individuals wishing to gain professional sports experience and make meaningful connections in the National Football League. Our internship program is built to develop future leadership talent that reflects our diverse community. The internship program is a paid opportunity that allows participants to contribute to the organization's success while practicing the knowledge and theories learned in the classroom. While each intern will be working with a specific department, they will be given the opportunity to explore different areas within the organization through group networking events, training, and 1:1 meetings. Our interns also have a committed mentor, a supportive team, and a real-world project to advance their skills and expand their understanding of a career in sports. Our goal is to create "fans for life" at the end of every internship. • *General Internship details and expectations:** - Our interns are paid $19.00 an hour and are expected to work 30 - 40 or more hours per week during the internship period. - Interns are expected to commit to the full term of the internship and be mostly onsite (no remote internships are available) which runs from mid-July through the end February. - Interns are expected to work flexible hours that include nights, holidays, and weekends. • *Important dates: ** - **Sunday, January 5, 2025 **-** **Applications close - **Monday, July 7, 2025** - First day of the internship program - **Friday, February 27, 2026** - Last day of the internship program • *Position Overview:** The San Francisco 49ers have an exciting opportunity to join the Business Strategy & Analytics team as a Business Analytics Intern for the 2025 season. This internship is uniquely positioned to support business intelligence projects and gain experience working with our CRM system and completing other analysis projects. The individual in this role will have the opportunity to interact with various departments in the company including revenue, marketing, stadium operations, and gain experience in different facets of the business operations of a professional sports team. The Business Strategy & Analytics (BSA) department has a direct hand in developing strategy for almost all departments of the 49ers business, including ticket sales & service, corporate partnerships, community relations, digital & email marketing, retail, concessions, and stadium operations. • *Responsibilities:** - Supports day-to-day administration tasks of CRM system and Data Warehouse including platform integrations, lead distribution, workflows, data visualizations and reporting. - Develops target audiences for email marketing campaigns and supports additional marketing analytics initiatives. - Gathers business requirements for our data warehouse and automated solutions. - Support post-event survey analysis to assess outcomes and drive actionable insights for future events. - Assists in the validation and QA of new sources of data and supports additional CRM / Business Intelligence projects. - Conducts research and creates presentation materials. - Other duties as assigned. • *Expectations:** - Professionalism in all interactions with fans, corporate partners, fellow 49ers staff members and 49ers players, alumni, executives, and coaches. - Punctuality and accountability are essential for all aspects of intern’s role. - Excellent organization skills and ability to multi-task are required. - Strong oral communication skills, including the ability to interact comfortably with people in all walks of life is necessary. - Detail-oriented self-starter with proven ability to learn new skills. - Team player, willing to contribute to ad hoc projects. ### **Education and Experience:** - Relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Experience with Microsoft Excel - Experience with CRM (Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce) a plus - Experience with SQL or other database languages a plus - Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau) a plus - Experience with Google Slides a plus • *Physical Demands and Work Environment:** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
