Position Overview: We are seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Compensation Analyst to help shape and lead compensation practices that attract, retain, and reward top talent. This role serves as the subject matter expert on compensation and will partner closely with Human Resources, Finance, and leadership teams to drive competitive and compliant pay strategies across the organization. This is a hybrid role based in Chicago, IL, with in-office presence required only two times per month for meetings and collaboration. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design, analysis, and execution of compensation programs, including base pay, incentive plans, and job evaluations. - Provide strategic compensation consulting to HR partners and senior leaders. - Manage the annual compensation cycle (merit increases, bonuses, and long-term incentives). - Conduct market benchmarking and internal equity analysis using survey data and compensation tools. - Review and maintain job classifications, job architecture, and salary structures. - Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Finance to support offer approvals, budgeting, and compensation forecasting. - Ensure programs align with federal/state regulations and internal compliance standards. - Serve as point of contact for compensation audits and reporting requests. - Support and mentor junior team members. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Finance, Business, or related field preferred. - 5–7 years of progressive experience in compensation analysis - Proficient in Microsoft Excel(Vlook ups and pivot tables) and HRIS systems such as Workday, ADP, or similar platforms. - Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders. - Experience with compensation modeling and salary structure design. - Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
