Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Lead DevOps Engineer to spearhead our DevOps initiatives. This role requires a candidate who has hands-on experience leading DevOps projects, particularly those focused on modern application deployment, containerization, and cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of development pipelines, source management, and cloud infrastructure while also demonstrating technical expertise in relational databases, container environments, and cloud platforms. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage DevOps processes, ensuring efficient deployment and operational performance of modern applications. • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and oversee source management (branching and strategy). • Manage Kubernetes in cloud environments (AWS preferred; experience with Azure, GCP, or OpenShift is also acceptable). • Oversee the deployment of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL on AWS models, and ensure seamless integration with cloud-based solutions. • Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline workflows and improve deployment cycles. • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior engineers in the DevOps domain. Required Skills and Qualifications: • Technical Leadership: Proven experience in a DevOps leadership role or as a senior DevOps engineer ready to transition to a lead position. • Pipeline Management: Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, modern development practices, and branch management strategies. • Containerization & Cloud: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OpenShift). • Database Expertise: Familiarity with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL, and experience with cloud database models. • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and lead cross-functional teams. Experience: • Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps, with a focus on pipeline development and source management. • Background in development and DevOps (infrastructure-only backgrounds will not be considered).
