Project/Task Manager – MS 365 Project Suite Support 2. Job Summary / Overview Leads all tasks (Kick‑off through Phase‑out) required to modernize DOT’s enterprise Project Online / Project for the Web tenant. Acts as senior liaison to the COR and S‑82 PMO, aligning Agile delivery with federal security, Section 508, and schedule‑of‑deliverables mandates. 3. Duties & Responsibilities · Present high‑level project, communication, and sprint plans at Kick‑off; refine post‑assessment. · Direct Project Administration & Oversight, maintaining artifacts, risk/issue logs, and dashboards. · Coordinate Discovery & Assessment within 30‑45 days of award; document findings and recommended scope. · Orchestrate Configuration/Pilot, including user‑acceptance criteria and lessons‑learned capture. · Oversee Training for DOT admin team; approve SOPs and job aids. · Manage staged Implementation roll‑outs and error resolution until all OA workspaces are live. · Chair bi‑weekly status meetings and maintain online health dashboards (Reporting). · Produce Transition Plan, Configuration Design Document, and Lessons Learned. · Enforce DOT cybersecurity, privacy, Section 508, and FAR/TAR compliance across all activities. · Facilitate stakeholder engagement, decision forums, and executive briefings. Secondary Responsibilities · Mentor DOT staff in Agile/PPM best practices. · Support continuous‑improvement initiatives beyond core scope. Reporting Structure · Reports to: ASO Systems Program Manager. · Supervises: M365 Project Suite Administrator. 4. Mandatory Required Qualifications · Professional Experience o Demonstrated leadership of enterprise Microsoft Project Online/Project for the Web implementations within a federal setting. o Must have worked at U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) before either as a contractor or an employee · Skills & Competencies o Mastery of project management and Agile frameworks. o Proficiency with Project Online, Project for the Web, Power BI, Teams, and SharePoint. 5. Preferred / Optional Qualifications · PMP®, PMI‑ACP®, or SAFe® certification. · Bachelor’s/Master’s in IT, Engineering, or related discipline. · Section 508 remediation experience. 6. Work Environment & Conditions · Work location: Onsite at DOT Headquarters, 1200 New Jersey Ave SE, Washington, DC 20590. · Schedule: Full‑time, standard business hours; occasional off‑hours support during cutovers. · Travel: ≤ 5 % for stakeholder engagements.
