Join to apply for the Cybersecurity Product Architect role at GE Vernova . Reporting to the GridBeats Cybersecurity NPI Product Manager, the Cybersecurity Product Architect (PA) is a team player. We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Product Architect to drive the design, scalability, and evolution of our software products. This role bridges product strategy and technical architecture, ensuring that our solutions meet business objectives, deliver long-term value, and adhere to modern engineering and security best practices. The Product Architect will collaborate with product management, engineering, UX, and other cross-functional teams to define the technical vision and guide its implementation. Define and own the end-to-end architecture for assigned products, aligning with enterprise standards, security requirements, and scalability goals. Evaluate and recommend frameworks, platforms, and technologies to ensure product competitiveness. Contribute to long-term product strategy by identifying technical opportunities, risks, and innovations. Collaborate with UX/UI teams to balance functionality, usability, and technical feasibility. Work with security, compliance, and operations teams to meet regulatory, performance, and reliability requirements. Advise on secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices, including secure coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance. maintain a living Security Architecture Doc. Define data protection measures - classification, encryption strategy, key/secrets management, retention/deletion, and data-in-use protections. Own supply-chain security through SBOM generation, code signing, and other policies defined by the organization. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of software development experience, with at least 3+ years in an architectural or technical leadership role. Strong background in software architecture patterns (microservices, event-driven, domain-driven design). Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript). Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and modern DevOps practices. Familiarity with relevant cybersecurity standards and regulations (e.g., Experience with agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps). This role is also eligible for a 15% variable incentive bonus.
