As a Cloud Security Architect on our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure cloud environments, such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, with a strong emphasis on container security and adherence to the DoD Risk Management Framework ( RMF ) . Your technical expertise will be vital as you work to ensure standards are met with information assurance and security requirements. You Have: • 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity • 5+ years of experience in a cloud security in an enterprise environment • 3+ years of experience supporting the DoD RMF A & A process, including authoring SSPs, POAMs, and performing STIG assessments • Experience securing containerized applications and orchestration platforms, including Kubernetes, Open Shift, and Docker • Experience in securing a major cloud provider, including AWS, Azure, or GCP, and with scripting languages, including Python, Power Shell, and Bash, for automation • Experience with container security tools and methodologies, such as image scanning, runtime protection, and network segmentation for containers • Knowledge of network security principles, firewalls, IDS / IPS, VPNs, and secure network design in cloud environments • Secret clearance • Bachelor’s degree • IAT Level II or IAM Level II certification Nice If You Have: • Experience with multi-cloud in DoD Government or Gov Cloud regions • Ability to translate complex security requirements into actionable technical solutions • Top Secret clearance • Cloud security certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Spe cia lty, Azure Security Engineer Asso cia te, or GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $ (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
