SMX is seeking a Windows Systems Information Assurance Administrator to support our customer with collecting IA artifacts in support of the Navy RMF process for systems in their hybrid on-premise and GovCloud data center. These artifacts include STIG checklists, ACAS scans and other various items supporting the assessment and authorization and continuous monitoring processes. This is a hybrid role based at Patuxent River Naval Air Station. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Monitor NHDSM ticketing system • Monitor/Manage/Schedule/Forecast Upcoming IA Work • Work with a large variety of Data Center teams to alleviate Cyber findings and concerns • Attend collaboration meetings to address STIG/EvaluateSTIG discrepancies • ACAS scanning and reports • Support vulnerability detection, remediations, and mitigations Required Skills & Experience • Clearance Required: Secret • Must be eligible for upgrade to Top Secret • 2-4 years of Windows Administration experience • Experience in DoD Information Assurance/Cyber policy and procedures to include hardening of systems, implementing STIGs, and scanning • Knowledge of NIST guidelines and Risk Management Framework (RMF) • Experience with administering Windows/Linux operating systems • Knowledge of DoD Information Assurance practices, including STIG checklists and SCAP scanning • DoD 8570 compliant (IAT Level 2) (Examples of minimum acceptable certifications: CCNA Security, CySA+, G SEC, Security+ CE, SSCP) • Detail-oriented and able to work multiple assignments autonomously and in a team setting • Must be able to interact with peers, management, and senior engineers in a constantly evolving environment to ensure a positive customer experience and atmosphere in the workplace Desired Skills & Experience: • Experience with vulnerability assessment and remediation is desired • Experience with ACAS Security Center is desired • Experience with PDQ Management Software is desired • Experience with Microsoft Windows Sever Update Services (WSUS) is desired Application Deadline: 6/16/2025 #cjpost The SMX salary determination process takes into account a number of factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories, relevant prior work experience, specific skills, education and certifications.
