JOB DESCRIPTION Federate Systems is looking for a Windows Systems Administrator to support one of our federal clients. This position is contingent upon winning the contract. Job RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assist with software installation and configuration across the entire IT infrastructure. • Troubleshoot issues with Microsoft 365 platform, Cloud servers, VMware Center, Active Directory environments, and resolve issues in a timely manner. • New accounts and groups set up, password management, application management. • Perform operating tasks including installing, upgrading, and maintaining an assortment of software on Microsoft Windows operating systems. • Routinely carry out backup operations to ensure data protection, disaster recovery, and failure procedures. • Communicate both orally and in writing on testing status to technical leads and customers. • Administer cloud infrastructure and services, servers, user accounts, RDP's, system images, software deployment, security updates and patches • Monitor systems to identify potential problems and improve performance • Create and maintain documentation for internal systems, processes, and procedures • Provide support for end-user issues as needed • Create and maintain internal documentation and network diagrams Required EDUCATION, Skills AND EXPERIENCE: • Associates Degree from an accredited college or university required • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a System Administrator with experience with Microsoft 365 platform, cloud infrastructure systems, cloud servers, Windows Server Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Purview Records Management, enterprise backup/restore, VMware center and other related experience that has adequately prepared the individual for the duties under this contract. • Strong experience in systems administration with a demonstrated ability in supporting computer network and cloud IT hardware/software. • Strong background in the administration of Microsoft Windows operating systems • Strong written and verbal communication skills; Proven successful experience working independently If interested, please submit your MS Word formatted resume for review to recruiter at federatesystems.com.
