Job description

This is a direct hire position and hybrid to Chicago. Responsibilities: • Contribute to the strategic direction and architecture of Collaboration Services. The Collaboration technology includes: Microsoft M365 solutions(Exchange/Teams/OneDrive/Intune/EntraID), HP/Poly Video Conferencing, Avaya telephony systems, wireless presentation systems, and digital signage systems. • Provide technical support as it relates to all Collaboration Services. • Investigate, resolve and communicate with the customer on escalated Service Desk tickets. • Pro-actively manage and maintain all Collaboration solutions and systems, including: • Security/service patch management and required upgrades following approved change management process • Database and solutions optimization • Back-up and disaster recovery • Monitor team KPI/TTI measures and identify areas for improvement. • Develop and maintain both technical and customer documentation for standards, processes and procedures. • Position will also be primary support for Audio/Video technology used within the Office. This includes: • HP/Poly video conferencing technology • Mersive wireless sharing systems • Crestron and Extron systems • Shure Microphone systems • Video Wall solutions Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in a related field. • Minimum of 5 years IT experience with collaboration solutions. • Strong customer service skills with a passion to exceed customer expectations. • Mature skills and approach when working with production systems. • Strong knowledge of and experience with administration and support of Microsoft 365 Solutions from design of the architecture through to implementation. • Ability to write PowerShell scripts to be used in automating and simplifying administrative tasks. • Analyze situations, evaluate alternatives, and implement solutions within standards (where applicable).
