We are seeking a Budget and Accounting System Administrator to serve as the internal subject matter expert and system owner for our Budget and Accounting System platforms, currently Prophix and Sage Intacct. This role is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing these systems to support corporate budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and data integration needs, as well as any integration between Prophix and Sage Intacct. Working closely with finance and accounting leaders, the administrator will ensure the platform enables scalable, efficient, and accurate financial processes across the organization. Location & Travel: • Remote-based role with minimal travel • Collaborate virtually with HQ and partners nationwide Responsibilities • Administer the Budget and Accounting System platforms, including user access, security roles, maintenance, and performance optimization. • Support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting cycles by managing data models, templates, workflows, and process automations. • Partner with Finance, Accounting, and FP&A teams to enhance and streamline financial processes within Budget and Accounting Systems. • Manage integrations with ERP and source systems; ensure data accuracy and timely refreshes. • Troubleshoot system issues, resolve user errors, and maintain system documentation. • Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc analytics to meet internal business needs. • Lead enhancements and upgrades, including testing, training, and change management. • Act as liaison with Budget and Accounting System support and consultants for advanced configuration and development. Skills & Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field. • 3+ years of Budget and Accounting System administration or power-user experience required. • Prophix administration or power-user experience is a plus. • Sage Intacct administration or integration experience is a plus. • Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting in a multi-entity or multi-site environment. • Multi-site, multi-product budgeting and reporting is a plus. • Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and corporate finance. • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics) and data integration tools. • Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools. • Excellent communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills. • Proactive problem solver with strong attention to detail. • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. • Strong customer service orientation and internal consulting mindset. • Organized, accountable, and results-oriented. • Comfortable supporting a remote, fast-paced team environment.
