Description: This position involves developing and supporting the Vocational Information System for Tracking Advancement (VISTA) modernization project, replacing the existing case management system. Responsibilities include application design and development, system integration, database migration from Oracle to Azure SQL, cloud environment management, legacy code analysis, and best practices in documentation, unit testing, and cross testing. Candidates should have proven success in web services, system integration, web development, and complex OLTP systems. Required technologies include Azure SQL, .NET Framework 6 & 8, Blazor, MudBlazor, Visual Studio .NET, Azure Cloud, GitHub, Jira, Swagger, and Microservices Architecture. Top Required Skills & Experience: Lead developer experience in large application projects, especially involving modernization, with at least 2 years experience. Expertise in ASP.NET Core v6-8 with at least 2 years experience. Experience with Azure SQL cloud database for at least 1 year. Experience with GitHub, distributed version control, and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub actions for at least 1 year. Nice to Have Skills: Experience working in Agile development environments.
