Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to join a collaborative and innovative engineering team focused on delivering scalable, cloud-native solutions. This role involves designing and developing backend systems, APIs, and infrastructure using modern cloud platforms and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate is passionate about open-source technologies, continuous learning, and contributing to a culture of engineering excellence. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop backend services and APIs using modern programming languages such as Python (primary), Java, Go, or C++. • Apply software engineering best practices and design patterns to deliver high-quality, maintainable code. • Architect and implement cloud-native applications on AWS and/or Azure. • Develop infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation (CFT), or ARM templates. • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and deployment. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions. • Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and trends, and contribute to internal knowledge sharing. • Support a DevOps culture by promoting automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. • 7+ years of experience in software development and cloud engineering. • Proficiency in at least two programming languages, with strong experience in Python. • Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms. • Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM. • Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and tools. • Experience designing and deploying scalable, cloud-native applications. • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. • Passion for DevOps practices and continuous learning. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with GenAI/ML tools or developer assist tools like GitHub Copilot or Gemini Code Assist. • Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP). • Experience contributing to open-source projects or participating in engineering communities (e.g., CNCF, CDF, FINOS). Certifications • Cloud certifications in AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes. Education: Bachelors Degree Certification: AWS , Azure , Kubernetes
