Cognizant is looking for an Azure DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure solutions within the Azure cloud environment. This role requires expertise in Azure DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform, and workflow automation using GitHub Actions. In this role, you will: • Design, implement, and manage end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of applications and infrastructure • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration in Azure using Terraform, ensuring adherence to best practices for IaC • Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline workflows, improve deployment efficiency, and ensure system reliability and performance • Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure the health, performance, and security of applications and infrastructure • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to deployments, infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines • Ensure security best practices are integrated into all stages of the development and deployment lifecycle • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, CI/CD processes, and operational procedures • Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in DevOps, cloud computing, and automation. What you’ll need to succeed (required skills): • In-depth expertise in Azure DevOps, including Pipelines, Repos, Boards and Artifacts, IaC tools such as Azure Resource Manager templates, Ansible • Extensive experience with Terraform for provisioning and managing Azure infrastructure • Proficiency in designing and implementing automated workflows using GitHub Actions • Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and best practices • Experience with scripting languages - PowerShell, Python, Bash • Familiarity with containerization technologies - Docker, Kubernetes • Azure certifications - Azure DevOps Engineer Expert is an asset At Cognizant, we're eager to meet people who believe in our mission and can make an impact in various ways! Salary and Other Compensation: The salary range for this role is between $100,000 - $115,000 depending on the skills and qualifications of the candidate. Applicants must be physically located in the US and have valid US work authorization. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship. Applications will be accepted till 9/24. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
