Job Purpose: We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to support the design, development, and deployment of advanced BI and data warehouse solutions. This role will focus on transforming complex data into actionable insights using robust SQL development, ETL/ELT processes, and modern BI tools. You will contribute to high-priority projects that enhance the organization's data infrastructure, analytics, and reporting capabilities. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct data analysis to support business requirements and reporting needs. • Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries for high-performance data retrieval. • Design and develop efficient database schemas and data models. • Build and maintain ETL/ELT workflows using tools like SSIS and scripting languages such as Python and .NET. • Develop interactive reports and dashboards using SSRS and Power BI. • Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver reliable BI solutions. • Contribute to the implementation of data lake and cloud data warehouse architectures. • Support the migration and integration of data solutions into Azure Synapse and other cloud platforms. • Ensure the accuracy, quality, and security of data throughout the BI lifecycle. • Participate in code reviews, testing, and performance tuning of BI applications. Required Skills & Experience: • Proven experience in data analysis, SQL query development, and SQL performance tuning. • Strong knowledge of database design principles and data modeling. • Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT development using SSIS and scripting in .NET or Python. • Proficient in developing reports and dashboards with SSRS and Power BI. • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, especially Microsoft Azure, is highly desirable. • Experience working with data lake warehouses and Azure Synapse Analytics is a plus. • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a focus on data quality. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
