Position: Microsoft 365 Administrator (Project Online & Project for the Web Specialist) Washington, DC Co[...] About the Role We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Microsoft 365 Administrator with proven experience in configuring and managing multiple Microsoft 365 tenants, specifically with Microsoft Project Online and Project for the Web. This role is critical to ensuring our project management environments are secure, scalable, and optimized for performance across different business units or clients. Key Responsibilities • Configure, manage, and maintain Microsoft 365 tenants, including Project Online and Project for the Web. • Set up and manage separate tenants to support organizational or client-specific requirements. • Implement governance, compliance, and security policies across tenants. • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and user experience. • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide Tier 2/3 support. • Manage user access, licensing, and permissions across Microsoft 365 services. • Document configurations, procedures, and best practices. • Stay current with Microsoft 365 updates and roadmap changes, especially related to Project tools. Required Qualifications • 3+ years of experience as a Microsoft 365 Administrator or similar role. • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Project Online and Project for the Web. • Proven ability to configure and manage multiple Microsoft 365 tenants. • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Azure AD). • Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) is a plus. • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 security and compliance features. • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Educational & Work Qualifications • Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-100, MS-101, PL-200, or equivalent). • Experience with hybrid environments and migration projects. • Scripting knowledge (Power Shell) for automation and reporting.
