The National Security Sector provides technology-enabled services and mission software for defense and intelligence customers in cyber, logistics, security operations, and decision analytics. The National Security Sector seeks a highly motivated and tactical DevOps Solutions Architect (SME) supporting Leidos Homeland and Force Protection Business Area, FBI portfolio. The candidate will support our Agile DevSecOps contract, understanding customer needs to create applications. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, operate independently with limited supervision, be a team player, and establish solid relationships with technical staff, peers, and external government customers. Experience in communications, Agile, DevSecOps, hardware/software fabrication, cloud, platform system integration, or test and evaluation is a plus. Join a team committed to a Mission! Primary Responsibilities: Perform complex architecture work in design, evaluation, planning, testing, and operation to support system development, engineering analysis, and research. Lead process and methodology integration to ensure system performance. Work directly with senior technical personnel, program managers, and external organizations on planning, oversight, execution, and evaluation of complex technical solutions. Apply broad scientific principles across technical disciplines. Maintain liaison for technical matters with staff and customers, acting independently on technical issues within expertise. Support ATO and accreditation processes. Clearance Required: Current TS/SCI. Required Experience, Skills, and Education: 12+ years in programming, software development, systems design, and cloud architecture. Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, with relevant certifications. Proven expertise in architecting software solutions based on customer requirements. Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), including networking, security, and automated provisioning. Skilled in Windows, Linux, and VMware technologies. Experience designing and implementing automated build and deployment pipelines. Ability to lead technical teams through design, implementation, and delivery. Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving issues across large enterprise applications. Experience supporting 24/7 platform availability for large user bases.
