The Cyber Security Engineer IV role focuses on hardening systems, automating patching, managing incident response, and integrating security tools into our SaaS application. You will collaborate closely with the engineering team to ensure infrastructure resilience and integrity. This hybrid position is primarily remote with periodic in-person sessions. Skills • Linux system administration • Cloud security services configuration (preferably Azure) • Scripting for automation (Powershell, Bash) • System hardening using CIS Benchmarks or STIGs • Familiarity with security tools and incident response processes • Agile project management • Strong communication skills Responsibilities • Hardening systems and automating patching • Managing incident response and integrating security tools into the SaaS application • Configuring Microsoft Defender and Intune • Onboarding/offboarding accounts and devices • Developing secure Azure policies • Configuring Sentinel for security logging and incident response • Automating incident response and responding to cyber incidents • Developing DevOps scripts • Working in Agile environments • Developing technical documentation Qualifications • Strong communication skills • U.S. citizenship required • Azure AZ-900 and AZ-500 certifications required or must be obtained within 6 months Education Requirements • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field with relevant experience • 10 years of IT experience with a cybersecurity focus is also acceptable Education Requirements Credential Category • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience Experience Requirements • Relevant experience in system hardening, incident response, and cloud security • Experience working in Agile environments Why work in Boston, MA Boston offers a rich tapestry of history, culture, and innovation, making it an attractive place to live and work.
