About this Position / Responsibilities: • Work closely and collaborate with other groups within the Digital Modernization department, including Cyber Security, PMO, and Enterprise Architecture. • Interface with other offices, consult with and inform user departments on system requirements, and resolve problems and operating difficulties for current and future enhancements to MyMTPD Text Tips and Metro Alerts • Possesses a comprehensive understanding of the entire Power Platform toolset and an understanding of typical business workflows and security models. • Knowledgeable in working with APIs, particularly Microsoft Graph and Dataverse Web API, among others. • Well-versed in creating and manipulating formulas using PowerFX. • Analyze, design, develop, apply, and support complex enterprise projects. • Evaluate customer requirements and provide effective solutions. • Participate in problem resolution related to system design and review. • Recommend approval of functional and technical design documents and enactment of systems, program enhancements, and updates of applications. • Analyze and evaluate system changes to determine feasibility, alternative solutions, and backup procedures; and • Work on the development of new solutions, upgrades, and enhancements to existing systems and ensure systems are compliant with approved standards. Qualifications: • Four (4) to seven (7) years of relevant experience • Proficiency with relevant programming languages, programming toolsets, and development in Power Platform, comprehensive understanding business workflows and security models. • Knowledgeable in working with APIs, particularly Microsoft Graph and Dataverse Web API, and others. • Proficiency with software development and project management methodologies. • Knowledge of the methods, tools, and techniques used to evaluate, select, develop, test, integrate, and troubleshoot systems software and hardware. • Demonstrated progressive responsibility with diversified technical level information systems and data processing management • Knowledge of multi-tiered applications such as web services, clustered environments, database servers, application servers, and report servers • Web application and API development: Power Apps, Power Automate, NodeJS, ReactJS, REST API • Code deployment and source control practices: DevOps with CI/CD pipeline (Microsoft Azure, Docker, GitHub, Bitbucket, PowerShell or other script languages for Azure/Docker CLI- Command-Line Interface) • Database ETL process: DataVerse, MongoDB (any NON-SQL database knowledge for development support) • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, Business or Public Administration, or in a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
