Cyber Security Engineer job at ZealoTech People. Orlando, FL. Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Systems Engineer to design, implement, and manage comprehensive security solutions across both on-premises and cloud environments. This role will play a vital part in protecting the organization's digital infrastructure, ensuring compliance, and enhancing cybersecurity posture through continuous improvement and collaboration. Key Responsibilities: • Research, architect, and implement security solutions to enhance organizational cybersecurity. • Design and manage network security controls including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and network segmentation for both on-prem and Azure-based environments. • Administer and maintain Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions including on-prem Active Directory and Entra ID (Azure AD). • Configure and manage MFA, conditional access, and RBAC to ensure secure access across systems and applications. • Deploy and enforce data protection measures such as DLP using Microsoft Purview and encryption tools like Azure Key Vault and BitLocker. • Manage and support endpoint security solutions including antivirus and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools. • Configure and maintain secure mobile device access to M365 services through Intune and MDM. • Enforce and monitor security configurations and best practices in Azure, M365, and associated services including Azure Security Center and Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps. • Implement logging, monitoring, and auditing tools to ensure compliance with security policies and baselines. • Oversee certificate lifecycle management and maintain Certificate Authority systems. • Assess proposed changes for security implications and participate in change control processes. • Collaborate with system administrators to define secure server and application configurations. • Stay current on emerging cybersecurity technologies, trends, and best practices to drive continuous improvement. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. • Hands-on experience with the following tools and technologies (or equivalent education/training/experience): • Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Cloud, and Identity • Microsoft Purview (Compliance and DLP solutions) • Splunk Cloud and Splunk Enterprise Security • Nexpose vulnerability scanner and Metasploit Professional • Strong understanding of public key infrastructure (PKI) and cryptography concepts. • Valid Florida Driver's License required.
