Description Citizens’ Enterprise Data & Analytics (ED&A) organization is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to help build the next generation of customer profitability metrics and insights. In this role, you will: + Analyze customer profitability behavior and build profitability metrics to support customer marketing, product, and strategy decisions + Serve as the lead analyst for the design of profitability metrics and other analytic data products, from scoping requirements to design, development, deployment, and integration into larger business processes + Develop relationships with other analysts as well as partners in Finance, Pricing & Profitability, Product, Data, and Technology Services, to collaboratively ensure delivery of high-quality metrics and utilization in key business decision processes + Invest in developing deep knowledge of business decision frameworks, operational processes, and data to successfully design & develop practicable solutions with tangible business value A successful incumbent will have: + Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, mathematics, statistics or related field, and 5+ years of experience delivering analytic insights, MBA or Master’s degree preferred + Proven experience turning ambiguous business problems and raw data into rigorous analytic solutions by applying critical thinking and quantitative methods + Proficient in SQL with 3+ years of applied experience, Python experience is preferred + Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences + Strong leadership skills, including the ability to effectively guide project teams + A strong sense of intellectual curiosity and ability to thrive and deliver value in an entrepreneurial working environment + Proficient in Microsoft Excel + Knowledge of retail banking business domain; Deposits business experience preferred + Experience performing segmentation analysis + Experience analyzing customer profitability Hours & Work Schedule + Hours per Week: 40 + Work Schedule: Monday - Friday + Hybrid schedule of 4 days in office and 1 day remote from a Citizens corporate headquarters Equal Employment Opportunity It is the policy of Citizens Bank to provide equal employment and advancement opportunities to all colleagues and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, ethnicity, religion, gender, pregnancy/childbirth, age, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability or perceived disability, genetic information, citizenship, veteran or military status, marital or domestic partner status, or any other category protected by federal, state and/or local laws.
