Description: Microsoft O365 Engineer Location: Atlanta Metro Area (hybrid) FLSA: Exempt RAFTRx is looking for a sharp, solutions-focused Microsoft 365 Engineer to take ownership of our Microsoft cloud environment—a core part of how we work and collaborate. This role is about stability, security, and scalability. You’ll be responsible for deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive. You’ll collaborate closely with IT, Security, and Operations to ensure smooth integration, user access, and automation through tools like PowerShell. This role is key to making sure our systems are secure, compliant, and performing at their best—so our teams can do their best work. This role reports to the VP of IT. Responsibilities: • Deployment and Management: Implementing and managing Microsoft 365 services and workloads. Migrate from G Suite to Microsoft 365 and then migrate from the Microsoft 365 tenant to the new Microsoft 365 tenant. • Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to Microsoft 365 services. • Security and Compliance: Ensuring the security and compliance of the Microsoft 365 environment with the cooperation and standards set by the Director of Enterprise Security. • User Support: Providing technical support to users of Microsoft 365 services, internal and external customers. • Automation: Using PowerShell and other tools to automate tasks and streamline processes. • Integration: Integrating Microsoft 365 with other systems and on-premises environments. • Staying Updated: Keeping up with Microsoft's latest updates and best practices. Requirements and Qualifications: • 5-10 years of experience supporting and managing Microsoft 365 environments, including SharePoint, Teams, and related services. • Microsoft 365 certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator or Enterprise Administrator Expert) are required. • Cloud Technologies: Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and Microsoft 365 services. • Microsoft 365 Administration: In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and configuration. • Security Protocols: Understanding security best practices and protocols within Microsoft 365. • Troubleshooting: Excellent troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving technical issues. • Scripting (PowerShell): Proficiency in PowerShell for automation and scripting. • Identity Management: Understanding Azure Active Directory and other identity management solutions. • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with users and stakeholders. • Focusing on specific areas within Microsoft 365 (e.g., Teams, SharePoint, security, Azure, Intune) • Experience with hybrid environments and the ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills.
