Job Description Job Description Job Description: Samuels and Associates is seeking to hire temporary Yardi System Administrator with the option for permanent employment in the role of Yardi and Enterprise Systems Administrator, based on the Company’s discretion. As the Yardi System Administrator, this role will provide end user support, assist with writing Yardi SQL reports, and act as a subject matter expert for all Yardi applications. You will also serve as a liaison between the business and technical aspects of assigned Yardi projects and new module implementations and integrations. In this position, you will work closely with employees from all divisions, with a direct report to the Chief Financial Officer. Roles & Responsibilities: • Acts as a subject matter expert for all Yardi applications • Ensures the back-end system setup of users, workflows, and functions that support business processes are functioning properly. • Provides user support for team members that use Yardi software and resolves helpdesk tickets to ensure internal customer satisfaction. • Primary responder for Help Desk inquiries related to Yardi issues, both user and Yardi error • Work with Yardi support staff to troubleshoot and resolve user and system issues as presented in Help Desk inquiries • Perform system maintenance, including user creation and termination, updating user groups, assisting in maintenance of system menus, and testing for data integrity • Maintain current user guides, process documentation, and maintenance schedules for Yardi • Works with Business Heads to ensure Yardi features/functions meet business processes requirements • Maintain a good working knowledge of assigned department projects. • Draft and maintain Yardi user/training documentation • Evaluate and audits all system settings and tasks. • Serve as administrator for other accounting based systems over time, as needed • Performs other related duties as assigned Qualification and Skills: • Residential and Commercial Property Management system experience. • Experience with onboarding residential and commercial properties into Yardi • Associates degree in Computer Science, Accounting, or equivalent education. • 5+ years’ experience as a Yardi Administrator or Super User. • Demonstrated ability to develop and write Yardi YSR and/or SQL reports. • Proficient with, or able to quickly become proficient with, a range of Yardi applications used in the organization and the industry. • Intermediate / Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications for email, networking, and business processes. • Demonstrated ability to manage Help Desk responsibilities and multiple concurrent projects while meeting deadlines. • Demonstrated ability to work and communicate efficiently with employees at all levels of the organization. • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, organizational and time management skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Organized with attention to detail. • Excellent customer service skills. • Thorough understanding of project management principles and planning. • Ability to travel upon request for company/vendor related initiatives. • Ability to motivate groups of people to complete a project in a timely manner. • Thorough understanding of project management principles and planning Commitment to Diversity Equity and Inclusion: We believe that diversity and inclusion among our teammates are critical to our success, and we seek to recruit, develop, and retain the most talented people from a diverse candidate pool.
